- Create and deliver technical training programs for technicians.
- Oversee inventory management for equipment and parts.
- Dispatch and manage service calls.
- Review, edit, and price service reports.
- Prepare quotations for recommended work.
- Communicate updates to customers and project managers.
- Provide technical support for HVAC technicians.
- Ensure technicians' licenses and certificates are up-to-date.
- Comply with service standards and customer requirements.
- Knowledge of the commercial HVAC market.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in reading schematics and work plans.
- Ability to manage and develop staff.
- Skills in workload evaluation and service work scheduling.
- Customer service skills to resolve issues effectively.
- Budgeting abilities.
- Experience ordering materials and scheduling repairs.
- Ability to generate reports and measure departmental operations.
- Ensure technicians have proper tools and maintain them.
- Assist dispatch operations in selecting appropriate technicians.
- Daily communication with dispatch regarding project information.
- Review work orders, invoices, and time reports for accuracy.
- Timely ordering of required parts.
- Ensure adherence to company/department policies.
- Oversee assigned HVAC service vehicles and monitor maintenance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM systems.
