The Opportunity You will take full ownership of the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning department while enjoying true operational independence. You will lead technician teams, drive project efficiency, and make key decisions without being micro-managed. How You Will Make An Impact

• Supervise, mentor, and evaluate HVAC technicians to build an efficient and accountable field team.
• Oversee daily dispatching and set service schedules to maximize workflow efficiency.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients to handle escalated issues and approve quotes.
• Organize technical training and enforce safety standards to maintain strict regulatory compliance.
• Track departmental inventory, tools, and equipment to reduce downtime and material waste.
• Manage time cards, payroll reviews, and departmental budgets to drive sustainable profitability.
• Analyze key performance metrics to continuously elevate service quality and team productivity.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Proven track record in leadership, team management, and daily operational dispatching.
• Strong working knowledge of residential, commercial, and government HVAC systems.
• Demonstrated ability to manage departmental budgets, tool inventories, and project workflows.
• Excellent communication and conflict-resolution skills for handling client escalations and quotes.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

• 6+ years of related experience within the HVAC and mechanical trades.
• Experience overseeing work on prevailing wage or government/federal project contracts.
• Comprehensive knowledge of safety standards including OSHA guidelines and fall protection.
