Duties

• Diagnose and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers and mechanical components using schematics and technical manuals.
• Perform routine maintenance on HVAC equipment and property infrastructure to prevent breakdowns and extend system lifespan.
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design documents to accurately troubleshoot issues and implement repairs.
• Conduct field service visits to client sites for installation, repair, or maintenance of HVAC/R systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Utilize tools like ohmmeters and welding equipment to diagnose electrical faults or perform component repairs.
• Maintain detailed service reports, logs, and documentation for all work performed; communicate clearly with clients about system status and recommended solutions.

Skills

• 2–6 years service experience
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• EPA certification required
• NATE or advanced training a plus
• Proven experience as a service technician with a strong background in HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, or property maintenance.
• Mechanical knowledge of HVAC/R systems including ammonia refrigeration and boiler operations.
• Ability to read schematics and interpret HVAC design plans accurately.
• Skilled in the use of diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters; proficient in equipment repair and welding techniques.
• Familiarity with field service procedures across commercial or residential settings.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
