HVAC Service Technician

Jadco Heating & A/C is a family-owned HVAC company looking for experienced HVAC Service Technicians to join our growing team. We service commercial and residential customers throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth area and are looking for dependable technicians who can diagnose problems, make repairs, and take care of customers professionally.

We are looking for technicians who are confident working independently, troubleshooting HVAC systems, and communicating clearly with customers and management.

Responsibilities include:

• Diagnose and repair HVAC equipment
• Troubleshoot electrical, refrigerant, airflow, and control issues
• Service rooftop units, split systems, package units, furnaces, and heat pumps
• Perform preventative maintenance
• Check refrigerant pressures and temperatures
• Diagnose compressors, motors, capacitors, contactors, boards, sensors, and controls
• Locate leaks and identify refrigerant-related problems
• Replace failed components and complete approved repairs
• Perform basic ductwork and airflow troubleshooting
• Communicate findings and repair recommendations clearly
• Keep accurate notes on work performed
• Maintain company tools, equipment, and work areas
• Communicate material or part needs with management
• Work independently while also supporting the rest of the team when needed

What we are looking for:

• HVAC service experience preferred
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Understanding of electrical and refrigeration systems
• EPA certification preferred
• Valid driver’s license
• Reliable transportation
• Comfortable working on rooftops and in commercial environments
• Able to travel to job sites throughout DFW
• Dependable and consistent attendance
• Honest, hardworking, and professional
• Positive attitude and good communication skills
• Ability to work independently and make good decisions in the field

Schedule:

• Full-time
• Monday through Friday
• 5 days per week
• Consistent work
• Additional hours may be available depending on workload

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 – 45.0 per week
