HVAC Service Technician

Brantley Heating and Air Conditioning is a local, rapidly growing company that serves Wilmington, NC and surrounding areas. We are seeking a Highly qualified and motivated individual to join our team.

**Compensation**: Compensation is based on experience, with room to advance quickly.

Duties:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on air conditioning systems

• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with air conditioning units

• Install new air conditioning systems as needed.

• Perform Changeouts in existing homes

• Respond to service calls and provide timely and efficient repairs

• Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed

Experience:

-Previous HVAC experience required. On the job training will be provided.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively

Must-have:

• Time management skills, ability to assess problems and relay information to the manager/owner.

• Communication skills relating to Equipment, customer relations, and personal needs.

-Understanding of HVAC hand tools and proficiency in use. Familiarity with Gauges, Refrigerant handling,

-Basic grasp of airflow and duct design/layout.

-Ability to follow wiring diagram, test low voltage circuit safe handling of high voltage

***This position requires a valid driver's license. We are looking for a highly qualified and experienced person to take on a leadership and management role in changeouts, repairs, mini split installation. Pay rate will be reflective of skill level.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
