HVAC Service Technician – Full-Time

We are looking for a dependable, experienced, and customer-focused HVAC Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills and take pride in providing high-quality heating and air conditioning services to our customers.

Job Responsibilities

As an HVAC Service Technician, you will be responsible for:

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, service, and repair residential and commercial HVAC systems
• Perform routine maintenance and preventative maintenance on heating and cooling equipment
• Inspect HVAC systems to identify mechanical, electrical, and performance issues
• Repair and replace HVAC components as needed
• Perform system start-ups and verify proper system operation
• Check refrigerant levels, airflow, electrical components, thermostats, and system performance
• Clearly explain system issues and recommended repairs to customers
• Provide customers with professional and courteous service
• Complete service tickets and accurately document diagnoses, repairs, and recommendations
• Follow company procedures, manufacturer specifications, and applicable safety requirements
• Maintain company tools, equipment, and service vehicles
• Keep work areas clean and protect customers’ homes and property
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, office staff, management, and other technicians
• Participate in an on-call or after-hours rotation when required

Qualifications

• Previous HVAC service technician experience preferred
• Strong HVAC troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Knowledge of residential and/or commercial heating and air conditioning systems
• Understanding of electrical components, refrigeration systems, airflow, and controls
• EPA Section 608 Certification preferred
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
• Ability to work independently and manage service calls efficiently
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work in attics, crawl spaces, rooftops, and outdoor environments
• Ability to lift and carry HVAC equipment, tools, and parts
• Dependable, punctual, professional, and detail-oriented

Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
