HVAC Service Technician

As an HVAC Service Technician, your primary responsibility will be servicing, maintaining, and troubleshooting HVAC systems, water heaters, and related equipment in accordance with manufacturer specifications and applicable regulations.

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with the Go Lime team to support company objectives and deliver excellent customer service.
• Service and maintain HVAC systems, water heaters, and related equipment in accordance with manufacturer specifications and local regulations.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues, identify the root causes of malfunctions, and perform the necessary repairs.
• Inspect, test, and assess equipment performance to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation.
• Educate customers on proper equipment care, maintenance, and operation.
• Provide honest service recommendations to customers, highlighting the benefits of energy-efficient equipment and potential upgrades.
• Follow all safety protocols and applicable regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
• Maintain the company vehicle in a clean, safe, and professional condition.
• Demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning, professional development, and customer service excellence.

Qualifications

• Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years of HVAC service experience.
• Valid Gas Technician 2 (G2) licence (required).
• Valid Class G driver's licence (required).
• 313A Refrigeration licence is an asset.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to perform the physical duties required for the role.
• Flexibility to work shifts as needed.
• Willingness to learn new technologies, particularly in electronics and electricity.
• Willingness to wear the company uniform.

Compensation

• $35.00–$45.00 per hour
