HVAC Service Technician

We are looking for an experienced 313D Residential Air Conditioning Systems Mechanic to join our team in London, Ontario. This role is primarily focused on residential heat pump service, troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs. During slower service periods, the successful candidate will also assist with heat pump installations to support our installation team.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, service, and repair residential heat pump systems.
• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and preventative service.
• Complete system performance checks and ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.
• Complete service reports, job documentation, and required paperwork accurately.
• Follow all applicable safety regulations, codes, and manufacturer specifications.
• Assist with residential heat pump installations, equipment replacements, and related HVAC work when necessary.
• Work collaboratively with planning, installation teams, and management to deliver an excellent customer experience.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Ontario 313D Residential Air Conditioning Systems Mechanic license
• G2 Gas Refrigeration license an asset
• Strong knowledge of refrigeration systems, HVAC controls, and electrical troubleshooting.
• Ability to diagnose problems independently and complete repairs efficiently.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Valid driver's license and a reliable driving record.
• Willingness to assist with installations when service demand is lower.
