HVAC Service Technician

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced HVAC Service Technicians for projects located in or around Alexandria, VA.  This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $45/hour based on experience and skill level.  If you are a HVAC Technician and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career!

Job Scope:

• Service, troubleshoot, and repair boilers
• Service, troubleshoot, and repair heating systems
• Service, troubleshoot, and maintain air handlers
• Service, troubleshoot, and repair water tanks
• Service, troubleshoot, and repair sheet metal components
• Perform basic electrical and plumbing repairs related to HVAC systems
• Service, troubleshoot, and repair fire dampers
• Inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot louvers and ventilation components
• Work throughout multiple buildings within a large institutional setting
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment

Requirements:

• Previous HVAC service and troubleshooting experience
• Experience servicing boilers, heaters, air handlers, and water tanks
• Knowledge of sheet metal components, fire dampers, and louvers
• Basic electrical and plumbing knowledge related to HVAC systems
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Ability to communicate professionally with customers and facility staff
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Must be drug-free and able to comply with site requirements
• Must be reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently
