HVAC Service Technician-Experienced

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated HVAC Service Technician with experience to join our team. In this role you will install, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot residential and small commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. You’ll apply your technical knowledge and problem-solving skills in a local company focused on quality workmanship and reliable service.

Duties

• Service and Install HVAC systems including air conditioners, heat pumps, furnaces, mini-splits, and related equipment
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs to keep systems running efficiently and safely
• Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, electrical diagrams, and mechanical drawings
• Conduct electrical diagnostics using multimeters and other tools
• Repair or replace components such as motors, compressors, coils, valves, and controls
• Diagnose system issues and recommend effective repairs or upgrades
• Maintain accurate service records and communicate clearly with customers about findings and options
• Follow all safety protocols and EPA refrigerant handling rules (recovery, recharging, etc.)
• Drive company vehicle safely to job sites and keep it clean and organized
• Full-time position available

Qualifications

• Experience as an HVAC Installation or Service Technician (residential and small commercial preferred)
• Strong knowledge of HVAC principles, refrigeration cycles, electrical systems, and mechanical repair
• Ability to read technical schematics and follow installation/service procedures
• Valid EPA Section 608 certification
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record a must.
• Dependable, professional, and able to work independently while providing good customer service
• Comfortable with physical work (ladders, attics, crawlspaces, outdoor conditions)
