HVAC Service Technician II

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, service, maintain, and repair commercial and industrial HVAC systems.
• Perform equipment startups, inspections, and preventative maintenance.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues using wiring diagrams, schematics, and diagnostic tools.
• Diagnose and replace compressors, fan motors, and other HVAC components.
• Work on rooftop package units, split systems, and a variety of commercial HVAC equipment.
• Troubleshoot and service HVAC control systems, including Carrier DDC controls.
• Document work performed, equipment findings, and recommended repairs accurately.
• Communicate effectively with customers, supervisors, dispatch, and office personnel.
• Follow company safety procedures and maintain professional workmanship on every job.

Our technicians work with a wide variety of commercial and industrial equipment, including:

• Rooftop package units and split systems
• Built-up and custom HVAC systems
• Variable refrigerant flow (VRF) systems
• Chilled-water and hot-water air handling units
• Variable frequency drives (VFDs)
• Carrier DDC control systems
• Exhaust fans and ventilation systems
• Chillers and cooling towers
• Water pumps and data room cooling units
• Boilers, steam systems, and humidifiers
• Ductwork, copper piping, and steel piping

Qualifications

• Previous experience in commercial HVAC service, maintenance, and repair.
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams and schematics.
• Experience diagnosing and replacing compressors, fan motors, and other HVAC components.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with other technicians.
• Willingness to learn new equipment, systems, and technologies.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to customer locations.
• Ability to reliably commute to Corona, CA, or relocate before starting work.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
