A Day in the Life at Brian & Sons

Your day at Brian & Sons starts with a schedule of homeowners in Aurora and the nearby Chicagoland suburbs who are counting on you.

You might start with a furnace tune-up, then track down an electrical problem on an AC, and finish with a family that needs honest advice about whether to repair or replace.

Between calls, you can lean on dispatch, the install crew, and management, because nobody here handles a tough call alone.

You don't need to know everything on day one.

If you have a solid service foundation and you want to keep getting better, we'll give you ongoing training and real room to grow.

You'll get paid for what you know today, with incentives and commissions as you build your skills.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Diagnosing, troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing residential heating and cooling systems
• Seasonal furnace and AC maintenance
• Working through mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant issues
• Inspecting equipment and explaining system conditions to homeowners clearly
• Presenting repair and replacement options professionally and honestly
• Recommending maintenance, indoor air quality, and upgrades when they make sense
• Documenting each visit in Housecall Pro (equipment info, photos, recommendations)
• Keeping your service vehicle clean and organized
• Following safety procedures
• Working with dispatch, installers, and management

Who We're Looking For:

You're dependable and motivated, and you want to keep sharpening your technical skills.

You're comfortable talking with homeowners, and you take ownership of your work from start to finish.

Beyond that:

• 2+ years of residential HVAC service experience preferred
• EPA 608 certification (required)
• Experience with furnaces, ACs, heat pumps, and HVAC electrical
• Able to diagnose common problems on your own
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Able to work independently and manage your daily appointments
• NATE certification a plus
• Housecall Pro or similar field service software a plus
