HVACR Site Supervisor – Defence & Marine

Location: Henderson / Rockingham, WA
Salary: $60.00 – $67.50 per hour + Super + Company Vehicle

About the Role

An excellent opportunity is available for an experienced HVACR Site Supervisor to join a specialist team delivering long-term HVAC and refrigeration services across Defence and marine environments south of Perth.

Predominantly based around the Henderson / Rockingham area, you'll oversee the day-to-day activities of an established team of HVACR Technicians and Apprentices while remaining closely involved with the technical delivery of work.

This isn't a desk-based management position. We're looking for someone with a strong technical HVACR background who understands the trade, can support technicians in the field and is comfortable taking responsibility for the smooth running of site operations.

The position could suit an existing HVACR Supervisor or Leading Hand, as well as an experienced Senior HVACR Technician ready to take the next step into leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day HVACR site operations
• Oversee and support HVACR Technicians and Apprentices
• Coordinate planned and reactive maintenance
• Allocate and oversee daily works
• Provide technical support and guidance to the team
• Assist with complex fault finding and technical issues
• Ensure work is completed safely and to required standards
• Monitor workmanship and project delivery
• Liaise with management, clients and internal teams
• Support the development of technicians and apprentices
• Complete required documentation and reporting

About You

• Certificate III in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration
• Current ARCtick Refrigerant Handling Licence
• Strong technical HVACR knowledge
• Previous supervisory, Leading Hand or leadership experience highly regarded
• Senior HVACR Technicians looking to step into supervision considered
• Commercial HVAC, refrigeration and chiller backgrounds all considered
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Confident overseeing technicians and apprentices
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Current Australian Driver's Licence
• White Card
• Comfortable working within secure environments

Previous Defence or marine experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
