Engineering Support – HVAC Systems

Location: Clayton, NC

Contract: 10 months

We are seeking an Engineering Support professional to support HVAC commissioning and startup activities for a pharmaceutical manufacturing project in Clayton, NC.

The role will focus on HVAC systems and environmental controls, including:

• Air Handling Units (AHUs)
• Terminal units
• Exhaust systems
• Room pressurization
• Temperature and humidity control
• Environmental control interfaces

Responsibilities will include verifying HVAC field status against approved design, installation, commissioning and startup standards, supporting system readiness and walkdowns, and reviewing HVAC documentation including FPTs, risk assessments, criticality assessments (CCMS), FLOC, spare parts, BOMs and commissioning/qualification protocols.

You will work closely with Utilities Engineering, Automation, CQV, Construction Management, Operations, Maintenance and trade partners to support HVAC readiness, commissioning, punch list resolution and turnover to Operations.

The position combines desk-based engineering work with field activities in an active construction environment and requires experience within the pharmaceutical industry, including equipment installation and startup.
