HVAC Technical Support Specialist

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Technical Support Specialist to provide technical assistance and troubleshooting support for HVAC equipment and systems. This is an office-based technical support position ideal for an experienced HVAC technician who wants to utilize their field knowledge in a technical support environment.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of hands-on HVAC experience , strong electrical troubleshooting skills, and the ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and schematics . Experience with inverter-driven HVAC systems, split systems, and heat pumps is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical HVAC troubleshooting and support to customers and technicians via phone and chat
• Diagnose HVAC equipment issues and guide technicians through troubleshooting and repair procedures
• Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, controls, and system-performance issues
• Provide support for split systems, heat pumps, and related HVAC equipment
• Assist with diagnosing inverter and electrical issues
• Document technical support cases and customer interactions
• Utilize a ticketing/support system to track and manage technical inquiries
• Communicate technical information clearly and professionally
• Work with internal departments to help resolve product and equipment issues

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on HVAC technician/service experience required
• Strong HVAC troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Strong understanding of electrical components, controls, and wiring
• Ability to confidently read and interpret HVAC schematics and wiring diagrams
• Experience with split systems and heat pumps
• Inverter HVAC experience highly preferred ; candidates with particularly strong electrical troubleshooting experience will also be considered
• Previous technical support or customer-facing HVAC experience is a plus
• Comfortable providing troubleshooting assistance over the phone
• Strong communication and customer-service skills
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
• Comfortable working on-site in an office-based technical support environment
