HVAC Service Technician

We are looking for a reliable and experienced HVAC Service Technician to join a growing local HVAC company.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining residential and light commercial heating and air conditioning systems. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, communicates well with customers, and focuses on proper repairs rather than unnecessary upselling.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair residential HVAC systems
• Troubleshoot AC systems that are not cooling or operating correctly
• Replace and repair capacitors, contactors, fan motors, thermostats, compressors, coils, and other HVAC components
• Diagnose electrical and refrigerant-related problems
• Perform preventative maintenance and system inspections
• Work on split systems, heat pumps, package units, and rooftop units
• Explain problems and recommended repairs clearly to customers
• Complete service documentation and job notes
• Maintain a clean and professional work environment
• Provide excellent customer service

Requirements

• Previous HVAC service and repair experience
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Understanding of HVAC electrical systems and refrigeration
• EPA certification preferred
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to work independently
• Professional and friendly with customers
• Dependable and able to respond to service calls in a timely manner
• Willingness to occasionally work evenings or weekends when required

Job Type: Full-time / Part-time opportunities available

Compensation: Competitive and based on experience
