HVAC Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and skilled HVAC Service Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing and maintaining a wide range of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and mechanical systems. Your expertise will ensure our clients' environments are comfortable, safe, and efficient. Duties

• Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration systems, and mechanical equipment.
• Install new HVAC equipment and systems following schematics and HVAC design specifications to ensure optimal performance.
• Conduct routine maintenance on HVAC/R (refrigeration) units and mechanical systems to maximize efficiency and longevity.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and interpret electrical schematics for accurate repairs.
• Repair plumbing components associated with HVAC systems and ensure proper integration with building automation systems.
• Communicate clearly with clients regarding system issues, repair processes, and maintenance recommendations to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Maintain detailed service logs, reports, and documentation of all work performed in compliance with safety standards and company policies.

Skills

• Proven experience as an HVAC service technician with a strong background in HVAC system repair and Maintenance.
• Construction experience is a plus for understanding building infrastructure and integration.
• Proficiency in reading schematics, electrical diagrams, and HVAC design plans.
• Mechanical knowledge of HVAC/R systems, boilers, and mechanical systems repair.
• Skilled in using hand tools, diagnostic equipment such as ohmmeters, and field service tools for troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with building automation systems (BAS) and electrical systems related to HVAC/R operations.
• Knowledge of plumbing principles relevant to HVAC applications and property maintenance tasks.
• EPA certification required for handling refrigerants; additional certifications in electrical diagnostics or appliance repair are advantageous.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients.

Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
