HVAC Technician

Overview
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVAC/R) systems for apartment complexes and homes. This role requires a hands-on approach to troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining HVAC equipment in residential. The HVAC Technician will work independently and as part of a team to ensure optimal performance of HVAC systems while adhering to safety standards and regulations.

Duties

• Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems.
• Perform routine inspections and diagnostics on HVAC equipment to identify issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems related to system performance and efficiency.
• Conduct equipment repairs including welding and working with ammonia refrigeration systems.
• Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and components.
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their HVAC needs.
• Ensure compliance with local codes and regulations during all installations and repairs.
• Maintain accurate records of service performed and parts used.

Skills

• Proficiency in HVAC/R systems design and installation.
• Experience with appliance repair and general mechanical skills.
• Familiarity with ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus.
• Ability to read schematics and technical drawings accurately.
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for van driving responsibilities.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
• A commitment to safety practices in all aspects of work.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
