HVAC Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC systems, including air conditioning and heating units, and possess the ability to maintain and repair various equipment. As a vital member of our service team, you will be responsible for ensuring optimal performance of HVAC systems in residential and commercial settings.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, heating systems, and ventilation equipment.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment to ensure efficient operation.
• Troubleshoot issues with HVAC systems using schematics and technical manuals to diagnose problems accurately.
• Perform field service tasks, responding promptly to service calls and customer inquiries.
• Repair or replace defective components in HVAC systems as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of service performed, parts used, and time spent on each job.
• Collaborate with other technicians and staff to ensure high-quality service delivery.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working on-site.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role in equipment repair or field service.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including air conditioning, heating units, and plumbing aspects related to these systems.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings related to HVAC equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
• Relevant certifications or licenses in HVAC technology are preferred but not mandatory.
• A commitment to ongoing professional development in the field of HVAC services.
