Residential Furnace Installer

City Home Comfort is hiring a skilled Residential Furnace Installer to help meet growing customer demand. We offer consistent hours, a company van, supplied tools, and opportunities for overtime with a long-established company and supportive team.

Furnace installation is the primary focus of this role. Additional work may include ducted heat pumps, air conditioners, and tankless water heaters. Boiler experience is not required.

Key responsibilities

• Install and replace high-efficiency residential gas furnaces according to applicable codes and manufacturer specifications
• Perform system start-up, testing, and commissioning
• Complete associated ductwork, venting, drainage, and connections within your qualifications
• Diagnose and resolve installation-related issues on site
• Communicate clearly and respectfully with homeowners
• Keep work areas clean and leave each home tidy
• Complete installation documentation, including photos, notes, and equipment details
• Follow all applicable safety procedures and Ontario requirements

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of residential HVAC installation experience, with strong hands-on furnace installation skills
• G2 Gas Technician licence required
• Valid Ontario driver’s licence and a clean driver’s abstract
• Must be available Monday through Friday
• Comfortable working independently or leading a small crew
• Able to follow wiring diagrams and manufacturer instructions
• Able to lift and move equipment and materials required for residential installations
• Dependable, professional, and committed to quality workmanship

Heat pump experience and additional qualifications such as ODP certification, 313D, or 313A are assets.
