HVAC Technician

Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and skilled 3rd or 4th year HVAC Technician to join our maintenance and installation team, dedicated to ensuring optimal performance of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems across our facilities. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC equipment, while applying your mechanical expertise to deliver reliable climate control solutions. Your proactive approach and technical proficiency will help create a safe, comfortable environment for all building occupants. Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems including air conditioners, furnaces and ventilation units.
• Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and mechanical drawings to accurately diagnose issues.
• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure system efficiency and longevity.
• Conduct plumbing and appliance repairs related to HVAC equipment as needed.
• Utilize welding skills for component fabrication or repair when required.
• Maintain detailed records of service activities, repairs, and system performance logs.
• Collaborate with construction teams on new installations or upgrades involving HVAC and mechanical systems.

Experience

• Proven experience as an HVAC technician or mechanic with a solid understanding of heating, cooling, ventilation, and refrigeration systems.
• Familiarity with reading schematics and working with complex mechanical drawings.
• Hands-on experience with construction projects involving HVAC installation or maintenance is highly desirable.
• Previous work experience in maintenance roles that required troubleshooting mechanical issues efficiently.
• Knowledge of safety standards and regulations related to HVAC systems and building codes.

Pay: $22.00-$36.00 per hour
