HVAC Technician

Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and skilled HVAC Technician to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in mostly residential settings. Duties

• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioners, furnaces, heat pumps, and ventilation units.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as filter replacements, system calibrations, and cleaning to ensure peak performance.
• Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and mechanical drawings to accurately diagnose issues.
• Conduct plumbing work related to HVAC systems when necessary, including pipe fittings and drainage connections.
• Utilize welding skills for repairs or modifications of metal components within HVAC units or ductwork.
• Repair or replace mechanical components such as compressors, fans, motors, valves, and thermostats.
• Maintain detailed service records and documentation of all work performed for compliance and future reference.

Experience

• Proven mechanic experience with a strong background in HVAC systems installation and repair.
• Knowledge of plumbing techniques relevant to HVAC applications.
• Experience with welding metal parts or ductwork is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with boiler systems and appliance repair is a plus.
• Mechanical knowledge of schematics and technical diagrams is essential for accurate troubleshooting.
• Construction experience related to building systems or infrastructure projects is advantageous.
• Prior experience working with schematics, technical manuals, or mechanical drawings required for precise diagnostics.

Pay: $35.00-$50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 – 50.0 per week

• Gas & Refrigeration: 3 years (required)
