HVAC Technician

Install, inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC systems and equipment.

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on air conditioning and ventilation systems.

Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults in HVAC equipment.

Conduct regular inspections and site rounds to identify potential issues.

Service and maintain split units, package units, VRF/VRV systems, AHUs, FCUs, chillers, pumps, and ventilation systems.

Check refrigerant levels, identify leaks, and perform refrigerant charging when required.

Clean and replace filters, coils, belts, motors, and other HVAC components.

Read and interpret HVAC drawings, manuals, and equipment specifications.

Carry out testing and commissioning of HVAC systems.

Respond promptly to maintenance requests and breakdowns.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, spare parts, and equipment conditions.

Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and other maintenance teams when required.

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in good condition.

Perform any other HVAC-related duties assigned by the supervisor.

Desired Candidate Profile

Technical diploma or vocational qualification in HVAC, Refrigeration, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum 3 5 years of relevant experience as an HVAC Technician.

Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigeration, electrical controls, and mechanical components.

Experience in preventive and corrective maintenance.

Ability to troubleshoot HVAC equipment independently.

Ability to read technical drawings and equipment manuals.

Knowledge of safety procedures and HVAC maintenance standards.

Good problem-solving and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance team.

Willingness to work on different project sites and respond to emergency breakdowns when required.
