Duties

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems including air conditioners, furnaces, heat pumps, and ventilation units.
• Perform plumbing tasks such as pipe fitting, leak repairs, and fixture replacements to support HVAC operations.
• Conduct welding repairs on ductwork or metal components as needed to ensure system integrity.
• Maintain boilers by inspecting, cleaning, and repairing to guarantee safe and efficient operation.
• Read and interpret mechanical schematics and technical diagrams to accurately diagnose issues.
• Utilize mechanical knowledge to perform appliance repairs and system upgrades in compliance with safety standards.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks on HVAC equipment and related mechanical systems to prevent breakdowns.
• Assist in construction projects involving HVAC installation or system upgrades within commercial or industrial facilities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an HVAC technician with a strong background in mechanical systems maintenance.
• Skilled in plumbing work, welding techniques, boiler operation, and appliance repair.
• Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams accurately for troubleshooting purposes.
• Construction experience is highly desirable for installation projects.
• Mechanical knowledge encompassing HVAC systems, boilers, appliances, and general building maintenance.
• Mechanic experience with hands-on skills in repairing various mechanical components.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Certification or licensing related to HVAC or plumbing is preferred but not mandatory; relevant training will be provided.

Pay: $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
