HVAC Technician

The main purpose of this role is to perform preventive and reactive maintenance of chilled-water HVAC systems across CBRE Excellerate managed facilities. The HVAC Technician maintains and troubleshoots AHUs, FAHUs, FCUs, chilled-water networks and associated equipment, supports district cooling interfaces, records operating parameters and manages work orders through CAFM systems to ensure reliable service delivery.

This position has the authority to: Carry out planned and reactive HVAC maintenance within assigned scope. Isolate equipment and stop work when unsafe conditions are identified. Diagnose HVAC faults and recommend corrective actions and required materials. Record operating parameters and identify abnormal system performance. Escalate major chilled-water, controls or district-cooling interface issues to the Technical Supervisor.

Skills Required Chilled-water HVAC maintenance and troubleshooting AHU/FAHU/FCU servicing Temperature, pressure and flow checks Mechanical and basic electrical fault finding CAFM work-order management and reporting

Knowledge Required Chilled-water distribution systems AHUs, FAHUs, FCUs, valves, strainers and pumps District cooling interfaces and operating parameters HVAC controls and basic BMS concepts Preventive and reactive maintenance PTW, LOTO and HSE requirements

Desired Candidate Profile

ITI/Diploma in HVAC, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification. Minimum 3 years relevant HVAC maintenance experience preferred. Hands-on experience with chilled-water systems, AHUs, FAHUs, FCUs and associated pumps/valves. Experience with district cooling systems/interfaces is preferred. Working knowledge of CAFM systems is required.
