HVAC Technician

Ottawa Mechanical Contracting Inc. has been servicing the Greater Ottawa area for over 25 years and are currently accepting resumes for the following position.

• Apprentice Refrigeration/ Air Conditioning Mechanic (313A) with a G.2 Gas License or greater
• An Apprentice with experience in commercial HVAC service and construction or residential experience with desire to experience the Commercial markets

Our service area is based in the Greater Ottawa and the surrounding areas. We have a diverse portfolio of commercial, institutional, and industrial clients. We work on a wide range of HVAC equipment & construction projects in commercial environments. Our reputation has grown for the past 25 years through our commitment to service excellence and quality workmanship.

Job Type: Full-time

Duties and responsibilities are as follows:

• Diagnose, repair, maintain and service commercial HVAC systems.
• Inspect and repair customer’s HVAC systems; troubleshoot components to determine necessary repairs.
• Effectively communicate solutions and options to customers.
• Estimate time and materials for field servicing and identify other preventative work.
• Use Engineered drawings and Plans to install or retrofit HVAC systems.
• Ensure work conforms to all utility codes and quality standards of the company
• Test, measure and adjust all types of heating, ventilation and air-conditioning systems to maintain efficient performance.
