HVAC Technician

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced HVAC Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair air conditioning, refrigeration, water cooler, and tank cooling systems. The candidate will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance, responding to breakdowns, and ensuring safe and efficient equipment operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, servicing, and repairs on split, window, ducted split, and package AC units.
• Maintain water coolers, tank cooling systems, and related equipment.
• Diagnose electrical and refrigeration faults and carry out necessary repairs.
• Detect refrigerant leaks, recharge refrigerant, and replace defective components.
• Service compressors, fan motors, blowers, thermostats, and other HVAC components.
• Respond to maintenance requests and emergency breakdowns promptly.
• Maintain service reports, maintenance checklists, and spare parts records.
• Follow safety procedures, use appropriate PPE, and keep work areas clean.

Requirements

• ITI, Diploma, or equivalent technical qualification in HVAC, Air Conditioning, or Refrigeration.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in HVAC maintenance and repair.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC troubleshooting, refrigerant handling, and electrical systems.
• Ability to use HVAC tools and testing equipment safely.
• Good problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills.
• Physically fit and willing to work outdoors, at heights, and during emergency call-outs when required.
• GCC experience is preferred.
