Duties

• Install, maintain, and repair gas lines, meters, regulators, and heating units
• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and service gas appliances and equipment.
• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair Heat Pumps and electric furnaces among other HVAC related products
• Prepare work reports.
• Advise clients on safety features and how to maintain gas and HVAC systems.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, or replace equipment or components.
• Plan and organize daily tasks.

Requirements

• Read and interpret plans, blueprints, and specifications
• Train and guide less experienced technicians
• Strength, stamina, and the use of proper lifting techniques required to handle heavy tools and parts weighing up to 25 kilograms.
• Ability to visualize a finished project from a document.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and do some moderately heavy lifting and carrying.
• Ability to work in high, awkward, and noisy places.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to work alone or with others.
• The ability to contribute to a highly team-motivated environment.
• Strong communication skills.

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

Experience:

• HVAC: 7 years (preferred)
