HVAC Technician (Mechanical)

We are seeking skilled HVAC Technicians with a mechanical bias to perform installation, servicing, preventive maintenance and repair of heating, ventilation and air-conditioning systems across commercial buildings and facilities in Qatar, ensuring reliable and energy-efficient operation of all mechanical HVAC components.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform PPM and breakdown maintenance on chillers, AHUs, FCUs, package units, split units, cooling towers, pumps and ventilation fans

• Carry out refrigerant recovery, charging and leak testing; brazing and copper piping works; compressor and fan motor replacement

• Service and clean coils, filters, blowers, belts, bearings and drain systems; check and correct airflow and duct balancing

• Diagnose mechanical faults such as vibration, noise, low cooling, refrigerant and water leaks and rectify to standard

• Support installation and commissioning of new HVAC equipment and ductwork

• Record readings (pressures, temperatures, amperage) and complete job cards and PPM checklists accurately

• Work in accordance with permit-to-work, LOTO and HSE procedures

Qualifications and Experience

• ITI / Diploma in Refrigeration & Air-Conditioning (RAC), Mechanical or equivalent trade qualification

• Minimum 3–5 years of HVAC maintenance experience, with GCC experience preferred

• Hands-on competence with manifold gauges, vacuum pumps, recovery units and brazing equipment

• Ability to read mechanical drawings and equipment manuals

• Basic electrical troubleshooting ability in HVAC equipment is an advantage

• Willingness to work in shifts, on-call rotation and outdoor conditions where required

• Good command of English (spoken and written); Arabic or Hindi/Urdu is an advantage

• Strong commitment to health, safety and environment (HSE) practices

• Available for immediate joining – preference will be given to candidates currently in Qatar with a transferable visa / NOC
