HVAC Technician/Installer

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated HVAC Installer or tech to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVAC/R) systems in residential and commercial properties. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems, schematics, and the ability to work effectively in various environments.

Duties

• Install HVAC systems according to specifications and schematics.
• Build and maintain HVAC units, ensuring optimal performance.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on existing HVAC equipment.
• Troubleshoot issues with HVAC/R systems using diagnostic tools such as an ohmmeter.
• Conduct field service visits to assess customer needs and provide solutions.
• Collaborate with property maintenance teams to ensure system efficiency.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their HVAC needs.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in HVAC installation or related fields.
• Strong mechanical skills with the ability to read and interpret schematics.
• Knowledge of property maintenance practices related to HVAC/R systems.
• Experience in equipment repair and appliance repair is a plus.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various settings.
• Familiarity with safety protocols and regulations in the HVAC industry.
• A valid driver's license may be required for field service duties.
