HVAC Warranty Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC systems, with a focus on providing exceptional service to our clients. This role involves installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. The technician will be responsible for ensuring optimal performance and efficiency of HVAC equipment while adhering to safety standards. This position consist of hourly plus commission based pay.

Duties

• Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units.
• Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to understand system designs.
• Conduct routine inspections and troubleshooting of HVAC equipment to identify issues.
• Perform equipment repairs using various tools including ohmmeters and welding equipment.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns regarding HVAC systems.
• Collaborate with property maintenance teams on HVAC-related projects.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and inventory management.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in HVAC technology.
• Must be willing to work rotational on call schedule.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or in a similar role within the construction or mechanical field.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in field service.
• Familiarity with HVAC design principles and ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Valid driver's license is required for travel to job sites.
• Knowledge of plumbing systems is beneficial but not mandatory.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.13 - $35.08 per hour
