HVAC/R Technician

Overview

• We are seeking a skilled HVAC/R Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and experience in troubleshooting, servicing and installing HVAC/R systems. Ideal candidate is a 3-5 year apprentice, or a licensed mechanic.

Responsibilities

• Installation of HVAC and Refrigeration equipment
• Perform routine maintenance on HVAC and Refrigeration systems
• Troubleshoot and repair of HVAC and Refrigeration equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and service manuals
• Ensure all installations meet safety standards and manufacturer specifications

Experience/Qualifications

• Must have a minimum (3) years of experience working on commercial HVAC/R equipment

• Must hold a valid Gas Technician (2) License, Gas (1) considered an asset

• 313A Refrigeration License considered an asset

• Ozone Depletion Prevention License (ODP) considered an asset

• Commercial refrigeration experience considered an asset

• Valid G drivers license with a clean driver abstract

• Must be able to communicate in English, both in written and verbal communication

• Must be competent in servicing and installing commercial and residential gas fired heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment

Pay: $30.00-$55.00 per hour
