HVAC/R Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and skilled HVAC/R Technician to join our team! Responsibilities

• Install, service, and repair HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning) and refrigeration systems in commercial and industrial settings
• Conduct routine maintenance on mechanical equipment
• Troubleshoot complex system issues using schematics and technical manuals; diagnose problems accurately and efficiently
• Perform welding and mechanical repairs on various components to ensure system integrity and safety
• Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams for system installation or repair projects
• Maintain detailed service records, logs, and reports of all work performed for compliance and future reference
• Assist with construction projects involving HVAC/R systems or related mechanical work as needed

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an HVAC/R technician or mechanic with a strong understanding of heating, cooling, and refrigeration.
• Mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and technical diagrams effectively
• Hands-on experience with HVAC units, refrigeration systems, and related mechanical equipment
• Skilled in welding techniques, and general construction practices
• Ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues efficiently using diagnostic tools and schematics
• Strong problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail in maintenance procedures
• Relevant certifications or licenses in HVAC/R technology or related fields are preferred but not mandatory
