Salary: $115,000 - $150,000 per year

Job Details The Cybersecurity Systems Engineer will help design and implement cybersecurity capabilities for mission-critical U.S. Navy systems. This role offers an opportunity for a systems engineer to expand into cybersecurity while contributing to requirements development, threat analysis, risk assessment, engineering documentation, and accreditation activities.

· Design cybersecurity capabilities aligned with Navy requirements and evolving threats

· Analyze existing systems, engineering documentation, and development processes

· Conduct cybersecurity threat analyses and risk assessments

· Translate security controls and government requirements into verifiable system requirements

· Maintain requirements traceability throughout the systems engineering lifecycle

· Develop and review systems engineering and accreditation documentation

· Support Authorization and Accreditation activities with customers and stakeholders

Must have:

Must be Clearable for (DoD Secret Clearance)

Systems engineering lifecycle and development experience

Requirements development, management, and traceability

Exposure to access control, auditing, network security, intrusion prevention, or encryption

Familiarity with ICD 503, NIST SP 800-53, JSIG, or DoD 8500 series

Threat analysis, risk assessment, or accreditation experience

Strong technical writing and engineering documentation skills

Ability to communicate technical findings and risks to technical and nontechnical audiences

Experience working in Agile environments

Proficiency with Microsoft Office
