Hybrid Reception & Kennel Tech Position

Ideal Candidate

We are looking for an active, animal loving, motivated individual who has previous animal experience in kennels, grooming, veterinary med, or dog training. This is a hybrid position of pet care/kennel tech (60% of the time) and reception (40% of the time).

Job Summary
This position involves caring for animals, cleaning/feeding/and medicating them, ensuring their well-being, supervising playtime and group play, providing exceptional customer service to pet owners, taking phone calls, making bookings, checking clients in and out. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Provide daily care for animals, including feeding, medicating, grooming, supervising group play, and exercising dogs
• Maintain cleanliness of kennels and common areas to ensure a safe and hygienic environment
• Monitor the health and behavior of animals, reporting any concerns to management
• Maintain accurate records of animal care activities and treatments administered
• Taking phone calls, booking reservations, checking clients in and out
• Entering client data and vaccinations into the system

Requirements

• Previous experience working with animals (1+ years) besides owning pets
• Knowledge of basic animal care practices
• Strong communication skills with the ability to provide excellent customer service
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated
• Physical stamina to handle the demands of working with animals, including lifting and restraining pets as necessary
• A genuine love for animals and a commitment to their welfare is essential

Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
