Hybrid/Remote Tax Manager

Zyve is partnering with our client, a nationally recognized public accounting and advisory firm, to hire an experienced Remote Tax Manager for its growing tax practice.

This is an opportunity for an experienced public accounting professional with strong C-Corporation tax experience to join an established national firm while working remotely. You'll manage sophisticated client engagements, advise clients on complex tax matters, and lead and develop other tax professionals.

What You'll Do:

• Manage federal and state tax engagements from planning through completion.
• Review complex C-Corporation income tax returns and related filings.
• Manage tax compliance for corporations, partnerships, and other business entities.
• Identify tax planning opportunities and proactively advise clients.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned client relationships.
• Advise clients on federal, state, corporate, and business tax matters.
• Manage engagement timelines, budgets, deadlines, and deliverables.
• Review work prepared by Tax Seniors and Tax Staff.
• Mentor and develop junior tax professionals.
• Research complex federal and state tax issues.
• Collaborate with Partners and senior leadership on client strategy and complex engagements.
• Support ASC 740 income tax provision engagements when applicable.

What We're Looking For:

• 5+ years of public accounting tax experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Active CPA license.
• Strong C-Corporation / corporate tax experience.
• Experience reviewing complex business tax returns.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state income tax regulations.
• Experience with partnership taxation.
• Experience supervising, mentoring, or managing tax professionals.
• Strong client-facing communication and relationship-management skills.
• Ability to independently manage multiple engagements and deadlines in a remote environment.

Compensation :

Base Salary: $120,000–$175,000 + Annual Bonus

Final compensation will depend on experience, qualifications, specialization, and geographic location.
