Hydra Crane Operator – Job Description

• Operate and control the Hydra/mobile crane safely for lifting and shifting materials at project sites.
• Handle loading, unloading, and movement of construction materials, equipment, steel structures, pipes, and machinery.
• Inspect the crane, lifting equipment, hooks, ropes, and safety devices before starting work.
• Follow the instructions of the Site Engineer, Supervisor, and Rigging Team during lifting operations.
• Ensure proper positioning and safe operation of the crane at the work location.
• Follow all site safety rules, lifting procedures, and PPE requirements.
• Coordinate with riggers and helpers during lifting and shifting activities.
• Maintain daily records of crane operations, working hours, and basic maintenance requirements.
• Report any mechanical problems, unsafe conditions, or equipment damage immediately.
• Perform routine checks and ensure the Hydra is kept in good working condition.

Experience: Typically 2–5 years, depending on project requirements.
