Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hydraulic Choke Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and monitoring hydraulic choke equipment during flowback operations, ensuring safe and efficient control of well pressure and flow rates. Duties

• Operate hydraulic choke equipment to regulate pressure and flow during flowback operations, ensuring optimal well performance.
• Monitor real-time data and adjust choke settings accordingly to maintain safe and efficient operation.
• Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment before, during, and after operations to identify any issues or maintenance needs.
• Collaborate with the drilling and completion teams to coordinate activities and ensure seamless workflow.
• Document operational data accurately for reporting and analysis purposes.
• Respond promptly to operational anomalies or emergencies, implementing safety measures as required.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area, ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience operating hydraulic choke systems in oilfield or related industrial environments preferred.
• Strong understanding of flowback procedures and well control principles.
• Ability to follow detailed safety protocols diligently at all times.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to monitor multiple parameters simultaneously.
• Good communication skills for effective teamwork and reporting.
• Physical ability to perform manual tasks and work in outdoor or industrial settings for extended periods.
• Valid certifications related to oilfield operations or safety training are advantageous.

Pay: $500.00 - $600.00 per day

Experience:

• Flowback: 2 years (Required)
• Flowback Operator: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:

• PEC/ Safeland (Required)

Shift availability:

• Overnight Shift (Preferred)
• Night Shift (Preferred)
• Day Shift (Preferred)

Ability to Commute:

• Jal, NM 88252 (Preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

• Jal, NM 88252: Relocate before starting work (Preferred)
