HYDRAULIC CRANE OPERATOR

About the Role
Responsible for operating and controlling hydraulic cranes to safely lift, move, and position heavy materials and equipment at the construction site.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate hydraulic cranes safely according to lifting plans and site instructions.
• Conduct pre-operation inspections and check hydraulic systems, controls, and safety devices.
• Lift, move, and position materials according to the required load capacity and lifting procedures.
• Coordinate with riggers, signalmen, and site personnel during lifting operations.
• Monitor crane performance and immediately report equipment defects or unsafe conditions.
• Ensure the crane is operated within its rated capacity and on suitable ground conditions.
• Follow site safety regulations and maintain the crane in good working condition.

Qualifications

• With relevant experience operating hydraulic cranes in construction or heavy lifting operations.
• With a valid license or certification appropriate to the crane type and applicable requirements.
• Knowledgeable in crane operation, load charts, lifting procedures, and safety protocols.
• Able to follow lifting plans, hand signals, and instructions from the lifting team.
• Physically fit, safety-conscious, and willing to work onsite.
• TESDA Heavy Equipment Operation (HEO) NC II or related certification is an advantage, depending on the crane type.
