Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Hydraulic Engineer to design, develop, troubleshoot, and maintain hydraulic systems used in specialized vehicles and industrial equipment. The candidate will be responsible for hydraulic system design, component selection, testing, commissioning, and technical support.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop hydraulic circuits and systems for vehicles and industrial equipment.
• Prepare hydraulic schematics, layouts, BOMs, and technical documentation.
• Select suitable hydraulic pumps, motors, valves, cylinders, hoses, fittings, and other components.
• Analyze hydraulic system performance and identify faults, leakages, pressure issues, and component failures.
• Conduct testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of hydraulic systems.
• Coordinate with Design, Production, Electrical, Purchase, Quality, and Service teams.
• Support prototype development and modification of existing hydraulic systems.
• Ensure hydraulic systems meet required performance, safety, and quality standards.
• Interact with hydraulic component suppliers for technical discussions and problem resolution.
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and shop-floor personnel.
• Maintain engineering records, drawings, specifications, and test reports.

Qualification

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5–8 years of relevant experience in hydraulic system design and application.
• Experience in automotive, special-purpose vehicles, heavy equipment, or industrial machinery will be preferred.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of hydraulic circuits and hydraulic power systems.
• Good understanding of pumps, valves, cylinders, motors, manifolds, hoses, and hydraulic accessories.
• Ability to read and interpret hydraulic drawings and schematics.
• Hands-on experience in hydraulic troubleshooting and commissioning.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD or relevant engineering design software.
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams and vendors.

Preferred Experience

Experience with hydraulic systems used in specialized vehicles, garbage compactors, waste-management vehicles, construction equipment, or other heavy-duty machinery will be an added advantage.

Pay: ₹1,100,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
