We are looking for someone with hands-on hydraulic experience (tubing, hose, fittings, plumbing), and we will train you on our tube-bending and hydraulic build process. This position reports directly to the Production Manager.
Job Description/Duties
You will build our custom transfer, compression, and injection molding presses from the frame up: mechanical assemblies, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic plumbing, all built to print. On any given day you might be setting major components, running and bending hydraulic tube, or plumbing valves and manifolds. · Fabricate and install hydraulic tubing, hose assemblies, and fittings
· Bend, cut, deburr, and prep hydraulic tube; route and clamp tube runs so plumbing is clean, serviceable, and leak-free
· Torque fittings and fasteners to specification; assist with flushing, filling, and leak testing
· Mechanical assembly of machines, frames, and components as specified per print
· Hydraulic and pneumatic component and plumbing assembly
· Read hydraulic schematics, assembly prints, and solid models
Additional Responsibilities
· Perform in-process quality checks on hydraulic and mechanical assemblies prior to sign-off

· Model safety and quality standards in day-to-day work
Job Requirements

· Blueprint reading skills required
· Knowledge and understanding of the functions of standard hydraulic/pneumatic components
· Experience building from prints/solid models
· Strong mechanical skills, good troubleshooting ability, and manual dexterity
· Willingness to learn our tube bending and hydraulic build process
· Quality conscious and detail oriented, with good written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
· Must be able to climb ladders and work from aerial platforms when needed
· Ability to lift 50 lbs.
· Your own set of hand tools and toolbox
· Reliable, on-time attendance on a Monday–Thursday, 10-hour schedule. The build schedule counts on you being here.
Experience Preferred but Not Required:
· 2+ years of mechanical or hydraulic assembly experience in an industrial, OEM, or heavy equipment setting
