Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Hydro Form Press Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will operate hydroforming presses to shape metal components with precision and efficiency. Your expertise in machine setup, tooling, and quality measurement will ensure the production of high-quality parts that meet strict industry standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to advanced metal fabrication processes in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate hydro form presses with accuracy, ensuring optimal performance for each production run
• Interpret mechanical blueprints and technical drawings to determine proper tooling and forming procedures
• Utilize measuring instruments and precision measurement tools to inspect parts for quality compliance during and after forming processes
• Maintain safety standards by adhering to all safety protocols and wearing appropriate protective equipment at all times
• Perform routine machine maintenance, troubleshooting, and adjustments to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency
• Collaborate with team members on tooling changes, machine calibration, and process improvements
• Document production data accurately, including cycle times, measurements, and quality inspections

Requirements

• Proven experience operating forming machines such as press brakes, stamping presses, or hydroform presses in a manufacturing environment
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately
• Proficiency with CNC programming and CNC laser cutting is a plus but not mandatory
• Familiarity with measuring instruments like calipers, micrometers, and gauges for quality control purposes
• Knowledge of safety standards in manufacturing environments and strict adherence to safety protocols
• Ability to perform shop math and basic calculations related to machine operation and measurement accuracy
• Mechanical aptitude with experience in metal fabrication processes including welding, forming machines, sheet metal fabrication, and assembly

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week
