Hydrogeology / Engineering Geology Engineer , Survey Engineer

About the role

This role is in the mining sector, focusing on hydrogeology, engineering geology, or survey engineering activities. You will conduct field observations, data collection, monitoring, and analysis related to geological and hydrogeological conditions at mining sites, as well as survey and measurement activities to support mining operations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct field observations and data collection on geological and hydrogeological conditions in mining areas
• Monitor groundwater and surface water conditions
• Assist in analysis of soil, rock, and work area stability
• Create reports and documentation of field activities
• Conduct survey and measurement activities in mining areas
• Collect and process coordinate and elevation data
• Assist with mapping of mining areas and monitoring pit development
• Ensure measurement results and field data are properly documented

About you

• Minimum D3/S1 education in Geology, Engineering Geology, Mining Engineering, Geodesy, or related field
• Understanding of hydrogeology, engineering geology, or survey/measurement activities
• Able to conduct measurements, field data collection, and data processing and reporting
• Able to work in the field and willing to be placed at mining sites
• Able to work independently and in teams
• Responsible, detail-oriented, disciplined, with good communication skills
• Mining area experience is an advantage
• Mandarin language ability is an advantage
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply for certain positions
