JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for an experienced Hydrographic Surveyor to support marine construction and dredging activities in Saudi Arabia. The candidate will be responsible for hydrographic data acquisition, processing, bathymetric surveys, vessel positioning, dredging monitoring and survey QA/QC.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct pre-, during- and post-dredging hydrographic surveys.
• Operate Multibeam Echo Sounder (MBES) and Single Beam Echo Sounder (SBES) systems.
• Perform patch tests, sensor calibration and survey equipment checks.
• Operate RTK GPS/GNSS, vessel positioning systems, tide gauges and Sound Velocity Profiler (SVP).
• Conduct Side Scan Sonar and Sub-Bottom Profiler surveys where required.
• Process and analyze bathymetric data using HYPACK/HYSWEEP or Qinsy.
• Prepare bathymetric charts, seabed models, volume calculations and survey reports.
• Monitor dredging progress and quantities.
• Use AutoCAD and ArcGIS/GIS for survey drawings, mapping and data presentation.
• Maintain survey records and ensure compliance with project QA/QC and HSE requirements.
• Coordinate with dredging, marine construction and project teams.
