Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Hydrotest Operator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting hydrostatic pressure testing to ensure stringent safety and quality standards. Your expertise will help maintain the integrity of our services, ensuring they comply with industry codes and standards. Duties

• Prepare test setups by assembling components using hand tools provided by the company.
• Conduct hydrostatic tests by filling tubing with water under pressure, monitoring for leaks or failures in accordance with company standards.
• Perform quality control inspections during and after testing to verify structural integrity and compliance with specifications
• Collect and analyze data during tests, documenting results for quality assurance records
• Utilize non-destructive testing techniques to detect flaws or weaknesses in tubing.
• Maintain detailed records of test procedures, results, and any anomalies observed during testing processes
• Assist in troubleshooting mechanical issues using knowledge and training learned in house to optimize testing procedures and improve service reliability

Experience

• Proven experience in service and labor environments with a focus on quality inspection or testing procedures
• Familiarity with workover rigs and hydrotesting procedures is a plus but not mandatory; strong mechanical aptitude is welcome; MUST BE WILLING TO LEARN
• Knowledge of general safety and oilfield is preferred
• Hands-on experience with general hand tools
• Understanding testing methods and quality assurance principle
• Strong attention to detail combined with analysis skills to identify potential issues early in the process

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
