Job Description

We are urgently seeking experienced Hydrotesting Engineers for our ongoing project in Ras Laffan, Qatar.

The ideal candidate must have strong technical experience in hydrostatic testing, piping systems, pressure testing procedures, and mechanical construction activities, preferably within GCC oil & gas, industrial, or desalination projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise hydrostatic testing activities for piping systems.
• Prepare and review hydrotesting procedures, method statements, test packages, and inspection checklists.
• Ensure all testing activities comply with project specifications, approved procedures, and applicable international standards.
• Coordinate with construction, QA/QC, HSE, and client representatives for testing and inspection activities.
• Verify test pressure calculations, test boundaries, piping configurations, and equipment readiness.
• Ensure proper installation and calibration of pressure gauges, test manifolds, pumps, and safety equipment.
• Monitor hydrotesting activities and identify and resolve technical issues.
• Prepare hydrotesting reports, test records, and completion documentation.
• Ensure compliance with project safety requirements during pressure testing.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in mechanical piping and hydrotesting activities.
• GCC project experience is mandatory.
• Experience in oil & gas, desalination, industrial piping, or EPC construction projects is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of hydrostatic testing procedures, pressure testing equipment, and piping systems.
• Familiarity with ASME B31.3, applicable testing standards, and QA/QC documentation.
• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, isometric drawings, and technical specifications.
• Good communication skills in English.
• Candidates currently available in Qatar with immediate or short-notice joining will be given preference.

Salary and Benefits

• Monthly Salary: QAR 4,000 – 6,000
• Final salary will depend on qualifications, relevant experience, and interview assessment.

Pay: QAR4,000.00 - QAR6,000.00 per month
