Job Description

We are urgently hiring an experienced Hydrotesting Supervisor for our ongoing project in Ras Laffan, Qatar.

The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in hydrostatic testing, piping systems, pressure testing operations, and site supervision, preferably within GCC oil & gas, desalination, or industrial construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily hydrotesting activities for piping systems.
• Ensure hydrostatic testing is carried out according to approved procedures, project specifications, and safety requirements.
• Coordinate with Hydrotesting Engineers, QA/QC Inspectors, HSE personnel, and construction teams.
• Verify the readiness of piping systems, test packages, equipment, and manpower before testing.
• Supervise the installation of test blinds, pressure gauges, manifolds, pumps, and temporary testing arrangements.
• Monitor test pressure, holding periods, leakage inspections, and depressurization activities.
• Ensure that pressure testing equipment is properly inspected and calibrated.
• Identify and report leaks, defects, and technical issues during testing.
• Maintain daily testing records, progress reports, and inspection documentation.
• Conduct toolbox talks and ensure compliance with site HSE procedures.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant technical discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in piping construction and hydrotesting activities, including supervisory experience.
• GCC experience is mandatory.
• Previous experience in oil & gas, desalination, industrial piping.
• Strong knowledge of hydrostatic testing procedures, test packages, pressure testing equipment, and piping systems.
• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, piping isometric drawings, and technical specifications.
• Familiarity with ASME B31.3 and applicable pressure testing standards.
• Good leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Good English communication skills.
• Candidates currently available in Qatar with immediate or short-notice joining will be preferred.

Salary and Benefits

• Monthly Salary: QAR 3,000 – 5,000
• Final salary will depend on relevant experience, qualifications, and interview assessment.

Pay: QAR3,000.00 - QAR13,000.00 per month
