HYDROTESTING TECHNICIAN

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and versatile Mobile Technician to join our team at a leading industrial service company. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical, industrial maintenance expertise, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair a wide range of equipment on-site. This role involves working in dynamic environments, providing field service support. Candidates with experience in pipefitting or hydraulics systems, knowledge of petrochemical and refining operations is a plus. The Mobile Technician will play a critical role in maintaining equipment reliability and supporting production efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Working alongside customer maintenance and operations professionals in plant/terminals.
• Adhere to all safety and permitting within customer locations.
• Able to identify different fittings and adapters to connect hose and piping systems.
• Operate and maintain company equipment and document test results for work orders and documentation.
• Safely use field service tools such as impacts, hand tools to complete job.
• Document all testing activities accurately using database and tablet; prepare detailed reports for management review.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with internal teams and external vendors when necessary.

Requirements

• Proven experience in industrial maintenance or pipefitting within a manufacturing plant environment.
• Hands-on expertise with flanges, bolts, gaskets, hoses, piping systems.
• Experience operating field service equipment; valid driver’s license required for travel between sites and TWIC
• Excellent problem-solving skills combined with the ability to analyze complex technical issues efficiently.
• Effective communication skills in English; customer service experience is advantageous.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week
