Hydrovac Operator

Overview

We are looking for a reliable, hard working and motivated individual to join our team as a Hydrovac Truck Driver/Operator! This position would require you to be a problem solver, self sufficient with the ability to work independently as well as in a team setting.

Qualifications

• DZ License - Minimum
• Can Operate Manual Transmission (10-speed, 13-speed, etc.)
• Can Operate a Hydrovac Truck
• Construction background/Experience
• Experienced with underground utilities work
• Detail Orientated
• Problem-Solving Skills
• Strong Communication
• Organizational Skills

Responsibilities

• Operate the hydrovac truck safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic and safety regulations.
• Perform excavation tasks using heavy equipment, including excavators and loaders, to assist in various construction projects.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks on the truck and equipment, ensuring mechanical reliability.
• Collaborate with team members to coordinate excavation and drilling activities.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used during operations.
• Ensure compliance with air brake and manual transmission requirements while driving.

Pay

$34 - $44/hour, depending on experience.
