Hydrovac Operator

We are looking for an experienced Hydrovac Operator who knows their way around underground work and can safely get the job done.

Responsibilities:

• Operate hydrovac equipment to safely and efficiently excavate around underground utilities and pipelines
• Perform daylighting and soft excavation
• Load, transport, and dump materials safely
• Keep hydrovac trucks and equipment clean and in good working condition
• Perform daily inspections and routine maintenance on equipment
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures
• Comply with occupational health and safety standards
• Work with crew members to complete jobs efficiently and on schedule
• Report any equipment issues or required repairs to manager
• Perform other duties as required

Requirements:

• Valid DZ or AZ driver’s license
• 2+ years of experience operating hydrovac trucks required
• Experience in underground construction or utilities
• Strong understanding of safe excavation practices around utilities
• Mechanical knowledge for basic maintenance and inspections
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Physically capable of lifting heavy materials and working in confined spaces
• Strong work ethic and reliability
